Don’t worry about coming up with an elaborate scheme or decorations. Guests already know they are coming to celebrate the New Year, so take it easy and don’t reinvent the wheel.

Add Some Glitz
New Year’s is all about the shimmer and glamour! Feel free to mix up the color but keep it cohesive. No need to see the rainbow, just add something shiny!

Don’t Start Too Early
Making sure you have a schedule that works is imperative. Start your party around 9pm so that your guests aren’t tired by the time midnight rolls around!

Serve Up the Bubbly
Feel free to serve what you would like throughout the night but make sure that champagne is available when the clock strikes midnight!

Have Food Available
This is where you can customize your party to fit your hosting style. Do you want to have a sit down meal? Appetizers and tapas galore? The main criteria here is to feed your guests!

Be Aware of the Time
Midnight is the focal point of the night. Make sure you know the time throughout the night so you can alert your guests for when it is time to gather for the big countdown!

Keep Guest’s Safety in Mind
Will you be serving alcohol? Will your guest’s have the option of staying over? It is always a good idea to make sure there are a few designated drivers, Taxi number, or an Uber on hand.

Any New Year’s party can be great if you set the stage! Your guests are ready to say hello to the New Year and celebrate with friends and family. We hope your 2016 is a safe and happy one! #ShorewestRealtors #ShorewestFamily #NewYearsCelebration #TuesdayTips
